Principal's Message

As we begin a new academic year, I am honored to continue serving as the proud principal of West Briar Middle School. After a rewarding first year, I am filled with gratitude for the relationships we’ve built, the progress we’ve made, and the shared commitment to excellence that defines our school community.

With over two decades of experience in education, I remain deeply committed to fostering a school environment where students and staff can grow and succeed. I hold a Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s degree in Education Administration from Concordia University in Austin. My passion lies in empowering educators, supporting student achievement, and building strong partnerships with families and the community.

Our school has a rich history of success, and I remain committed to honoring the strong systems that have brought us this far. At the same time, I am excited to continue our work in closing achievement gaps, strengthening instruction, and moving our campus toward an A rating.

This year, our vision is grounded in our core values—Respect, Integrity, and Excellence—which guide everything we do. I am proud to share the three primary goals that will continue to drive our work:

We will continue to support our teachers in delivering rigorous, engaging, and differentiated instruction that meets the needs of diverse learners. Through high expectations and ongoing professional growth, we will strive for excellence in every classroom.
