Christians on Campus
Why Join Cristians on Campus?
Joining the Christians on Campus Club provides community, spiritual growth, and accountability through shared faith. Members find support for life’s challenges, build lasting friendships with shared values, and get opportunities to study the Bible and serve others. The Christian Club offers a space for mentorship, fellowship, and encouragement. Students can connect with like-minded peers who provide encouragement, share burdens, and foster deep friendships. Students can also go deeper in faith, ask questions, and study the Bible in a welcoming, interactive setting that creates a structure for personal and spiritual growth by being part of a group that encourages living out faith.
Early adolescence can feel socially unstable, and a club centered on shared values can give students a sense of belonging. Having a consistent group that meets regularly can reduce feelings of isolation and help students build friendships in a more structured, supportive environment.
Another benefit is emotional support. Middle school is a time when students start dealing with more complex stress—academic pressure, friendships, identity questions. A well-led club can provide encouragement, mentorship (especially if older students or adult leaders are involved), and a place to talk openly without judgment.
The Christians on Campus Club meets every Wednesday mornings from 7:45 am to 8:20 a.m. in the choir room (E104).

Why is studying the Bible a necessary part of a Christian's life?
(Matthew 4:4)
But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
(Psalms 119:105)
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
(John 8:31_32)
So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
(Hebrews 4:12)
For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart

Fishing Club
Why join the Fishing Club?
Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a novice to the world of fishing, joining a fishing club can significantly enhance your experience and broaden your fishing experiences. From sharing knowledge with likeminded people to fostering a sense of community, here’s why you should consider joining a fishing club. The Fishing Club provide recreational fishers with the opportunity to come together, learn, socializing and enjoying some friendly competition. Being a fishing club member is a great way to learn from and teach others, you will always have someone to go fishing with and brag to about your latest catch, and while it can be relaxing to fish
alone, it is safer to go fishing with others. Joining a fishing club also provides members with a sense of contributing to the local community.
You’ll also have the opportunity to learn new fishing skills from other members and share your own tips to help others improve their fishing techniques. Learning from other anglers is often the best way to improve your fishing. With this in mind, beginners and children will also benefit from joining a fishing club as they will be able to learn the basics of fishing from more experienced fishers and always have somewhere to go where they can ask any fishing questions. Many fishing clubs also host ‘come and try’ fishing days where children and beginners can learn how to fish from more experienced members. Engaging with a club can enhance the standard
health benefits of fishing by reducing stress through shared adventures. Regular activity outdoors helps build physical resilience, provides Vitamin D from sun
exposure, and offers an emotional outlet for mindfulness and focus.
